No bells, no whistles, just facts
Unfortunately, room conditions fell short, with cleanliness and maintenance being significant issues. The staff was friendly, but the inconsistent service quality raised concerns. Dining options lacked variety and were quite pricey for what was offered.

My room was updated with an exceptionally comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast. Absolutely breathtaking view of the sea, truly enjoyed it. The location was fantastic for walking around a busy and fashionable street.

We explored the Colosseum and the Vatican, and the accommodations were great. The hotel's rich history, elegant decor. Make sure to enjoy breakfast in their beautiful dining area, though it can get busy. You'll love its central location for dining and shopping.
Our only hiccup was that we were disappointed by the wifi, slow and unreliable at times. It made staying connected a bit tricky during our vacation.

The hotel was fairly clean and had pretty friendly and superbly friendly staff at reception concierge service and breakfast service. Had elegant, generous-sized room that was both kept very clean. Location: the property was close to located on Main Street where all the shops, the plaza and the mall and tourist spot. I ate in the attached restaurant nearby❤
Had overpriced breakfast, it might be better.

Location and history and quality of bedding
Very old furniture, run down room-curtain torn, faucet in bathtub fell off, safe was inoperable, no clock, probably a 2 star room being offered as a five star. History and grandeur of hotel was probably great 50 years ago but not in 2012.

Fine ambiance and really good service
The staff were really good. The views from our room were amazing, and having breakfast in such a majestic setting was a highlight of our trip. The wifi could use some improvements as it was occasionally slow.

Great vibes and killer location!
Had a blast with my fam staying here! The interior is gorgeous, and the location is super central for sightseeing. The staff were friendly and even remembered our names. Only bummer was that the A/C wasn't working well, so it got a bit hot at times. Would recommend the in-room breakfast-delicious!

Location, design of the hotel.
The staff is not friendly. The front desk could use some tips of how to smile and treat clients in a nice manner. Breakfast, some fresh bread would be good. Nice big room with a nice big table but very little to choose from.

Beautiful palace like hotel but with rooms that are not up to date. Bathrooms must be 40 years old, floors squeek and mattresses in need of changing.

The entrance level of the hotel is a beautiful piece of art worth the money, well maybe location too.
Hotel service completely poor, at reception, customer service is the worst, the staff was rude, at times you could feel ans see the withering behind your back, the front reception desk lookalike an office desk w all paper work during the day time, the back too desks makes it lok like an office not out together, I stood there for 15 min while I saw two staff members resolve a 12€ issue on another customer while I was not acknowledge or asked to wait a few minutes, etc, etc, horrible experience, The room: mattress so uncomfortable cheap, it made noises as I tunrned, I could feel the lumps from the pillow, the room in general has the antique look but at a very cheap level, water leaked out of shower to the floor during the shower, awful and very expensive experience. The slamming of service doors could be heard down the halls. Wifi was limited to other areas that was not the lobby.
